Our work questions three main ideas: form, materiality, and light. We strive to create forms that are brand-new to the world. We value a sense of limited materiality—a density of a few materials is visually rich. Light and its absorption or reflection is a driving force. We’re influenced by the light of the night sky, the depth of the sea; as well as by timelessness—the historic and the futuristic, the anterior and the ulterior. We seek a balance among these ideas in order to create work that is neither yesterday nor tomorrow, a balance that roots us in the present.
